LOCATIONHolborn (Coming Soon)I’ve been in the hairdressing industry since I was 16, starting in a small barber shop at the top of my Mum’s road. I have been lucky enough to travel to many different countries in my life so far, and even luckier to be able to bring my job with me. I have cut hair in hostels, on beaches, in back gardens; you name it across South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Whatever language or destination the principle is exactly the same, to make someone look better, but more importantly, feel better about themselves. I would describe my barbering style as traditional and natural. I enjoy planning the hair cut, creating the shape and then seeing the style develop. I used to prefer working with longer hairstyles, but since being at Murdock and learning from extremely talented barbers I am as comfortable with short, sharp haircuts as well. BOOK ONLINE
I am what you may call a new generation barber but don’t get it twisted, every cell in my body consists of a vintage, classic and old school respect and love for the art of barbering and where it started from.
For myself barbering isn't a job or a hobby, or just a means for getting by, it's a way of life. It's a development of understanding, trust and respect amongst the clients and their barber. And in turn, the clients become family.
A barber is someone who's work is constantly on show. A barber can be seen to many as someone to confide in or in my case someone to confess their sins to. We are friends, advisors and moreover, unqualified psychologists. (Even though I have a degree in psychology)
Most importantly of all, I just love how something as simple as a haircut can make the biggest change in an individuals day. To see a client walk out with a smile and a head held high is the only thing I need in return of this craft.
Enough talking, come find out for yourself what type of barber I am. I'll let the haircut do the rest of the talking.
